drifting into light

Hello Angels! Welcome back to the Cosmic Café!

We are finishing off Pisces season for the year today by talking about none other than endings.

There is a subtle kind of intelligence that lives inside of Pisces endings.

Not the dramatic kind that arrives with slammed doors and final words—as Scorpio energy is more inclined to do—but the softer kind. The kind that dissolves. The kind that loosens its grip until something simply… drifts away.

This is the realm of Pisces endings.

Pisces governs the final stretch of the zodiacal journey—the place where form begins to blur and boundaries soften. By the time we arrive here, the work of building, striving, defining, and achieving has already been done through the previous eleven signs.

Pisces does not ask us to do any more.

This is why Pisces, in terms of the developmental phases of life, is associated with old age—when the body gradually weakens and the soul slowly begins spiritually preparing itself for whatever may come next.

Another way to understand Pisces is that it asks us to release.

In psychological terms, Pisces speaks to our need for transcendence—the human longing to move beyond the rigid structures of the ego and return to something larger than ourselves. It is the place in the psyche where we practice surrender. Not because we are defeated, but because we have grown into greater wisdom.

The reality is that every life requires endings—even beyond physical death. For example, dreams change, identities evolve, roles complete themselves and seasons of effort eventually reach their natural conclusion.

Yet the mind often resists this moment. We cling to the familiar shape of things long after their essence has begun to fade.

Pisces serves us by gently dissolving what we no longer are meant to carry.

Sometimes this feels like grief. Sometimes it feels like confusion. And sometimes it simply feels like fatigue with a story that we’ve outgrown.

But beneath that fog is a profound kindness.

Pisces endings are not about failure—they are about completion. They are the tide pulling back so that life can begin again somewhere new.

This is why Pisces energy often brings reflection, rest, and emotional processing. The psyche needs time to compost experience. It needs space to gather the meaning from what has been lived.

Nothing is wasted here.

Every joy, every mistake, every attempt becomes part of a deeper wisdom that we carry forward into the next beginning.

And that is the quiet miracle of this archetype: Pisces teaches us that endings are not empty spaces, but rather they are sacred thresholds.

They are the moment when the old story returns to the ocean of life—and the soul prepares, quietly and invisibly, for its next becoming.

So if something in your life feels like it is dissolving right now, resist the urge to force clarity too quickly.

Let the tide finish its work and trust that what is leaving has already given you its medicine.

May we all have the courage to surrender the old—trusting that its place in our lives is slowly coming to a beautiful close—and then, with hope and courage, embrace what lies just beyond the horizon, already gathering its light, ready to spring forward with something new and equally beautiful.

This wraps up Memo #9.

I hope this message helped make your life a little more bright and a little more clear.

Thanks for tuning in.

Until next time.
