i can feel angry

Welcome back, Angels, to the Cosmic Café.

We are in the season of Aries.

And broken down into its energetic parts, Aries is a cardinal fire sign. This means that it is a sign of initiation or pure ignition.

So, if Leo (a fixed fire sign) is like a steady flame or candle, and Sagittarius (a mutable fire sign) is like a wildfire, then Aries is like a spark—an explosion of energy that arrives fast and powerfully, but isn’t meant to sustain itself forever.

And yet… this energy is essential.

It is the part of us that gets the ball rolling. The part that ensures we are self-interested enough to survive, to act, and to protect ourselves.

In that sense,  Aries is selfish—but in the most necessary, life-preserving way.

It truly is self-love at it’s finest.

And one of the most important—and most misunderstood—ways it does this… is through anger.

Now, anger is often labeled as negative, and to be fair, when it is unchecked or when it lacks empathy or fairness—it can be very harmful.

But anger in its purest form isn't harmful.

It is simply a signal.

A sacred internal surge that says:

“Something here matters to me.”

Healthy anger arises, for example, when:

– a key boundary has been crossed

– a important truth has been ignored

– an essential need has gone unmet

– or maybe something within has been dismissed for a little too long

And when we stay conscious of it, anger is not wild or reckless. Rather it is clarifying.

It helps us:

– to say “no” when we mean it

– recognize what we truly value

– defend what is sacred to us

– and take decisive, aligned actions that get us what we want

This is Aries energy at its highest expression, always moving forward with courage.

So, the goal is not to suppress this anger. Nor is it to unleash it onto others.

The goal is to listen. Be mindful of the messages that are arising from within.

Which means sitting with the heat just long enough to ask:

What is this anger trying to protect?

OR

What truth is asking to be spoken?

And then… we respond.

We respond in a way that honors our needs, while still respecting the rights and well-being of others.

Because when anger is honored—not avoided—it becomes clean, powerful, and purposeful.

For we all deserve to be treated with respect. And we also have the right to assert ourselves, have needs and speak up about the things that matter to us.

So may we all learn to listen to our anger, and trust it enough to act where action is needed.

May we do so in a way that is grounded, considerate, and able to be truly heard.

In doing so, we are honoring our Aries need.

That wraps up Memo #11. I hope this message helped to make your life a little more bright and a little more clear. Until next time! : )
